Making boats in Brittany since 1946, Bateaux Tirot is the last manufacturer of navigable toy wooden boats handmade entirely using French materials.

The company has developed a unique knowledge in its varnishing techniques and in making a perfectly hollowed-out and decked hull. A system of an artificial air bubble provides the most realistic sea-worthiness possible. The boats are then sanded by hand and finished with a high quality sheen.
