Vintage Italian Florentine Giltwood Oval Mirror – 30cm is charming decorative piece in the style of a classic Louis XVI design with a beautifully carved Baroque-style frame.
This authentic vintage piece features a classic Louis XVI design, beautifully balanced by a symmetrical acanthus shell crest at the top and an elegant cartouche drop pendant at the base.
Crafted by hand using old-world European techniques, the frame boasts a genuine gold-leaf finish applied over a traditional red-clay bole base. The warm red undertones subtly peek through the crevices, lending the piece a rich, sun-baked historical depth.
The original mirror glass is exceptionally clear and well-preserved.
