Le Sloop ~ Toy Sailing Boat

Its shape is inspired by tuna boats, fishing boats of yesteryear with which our ancestors fished for… big fish!”

In French maritime slang, the bachi is the headgear of sailors and quartermasters of the Navy. Made of blue woolen cloth, it is topped with a red pompom in the French Navy.

The Le Sloop is a 21cm tuna boat. Made of beech wood from the forests of Brittany, this boat is equipped with a Bermuda-type cotton sail.

 If they are well designed to go in the water, without keel or ballast they can capsize in the rough waters of a child’s bath. The hand of its captain is then necessary to hold it in position during the bath.

Please note: Not suitable for children under 36 months. It has small parts which can be swallowed.
