Vintage French Hammered Copper Cooking Pot with Lid is a beautiful and substantial vintage French copper cooking pot, wonderfully weighty and crafted from heavy-gauge hammered copper.
The generous round pot features a softly rounded, heavy base and retains its original fitted copper lid. Large brass loop handles sit to either side, with a further brass handle to the lid. The hand-hammered surface gives the copper wonderful depth and character, complemented by the warm patina and gentle markings acquired through years of use.
Unmarked, as is often found with traditional French copper kitchenware, the pot has generous proportions and rich aged copper make it particularly lovely displayed on an open kitchen shelf, farmhouse table or among a collection of antique and vintage French cookware.
Please note, the little streaks on the vintage copper are simply reflections from the old table, it is so shiny and beautiful.
