Dried oranges give off the most lovely scent. They remind us of a time where life was slower, and that we can also embrace this time. The orange pieces can be added to the Christmas Tree as decoration, to the table, popped on Christmas presents or given as gifts.

It will take two to three hours to make the dried orange pieces.

Heat an oven to 90 degree Celsius then after about 20 minutes reduce heat to 60 degrees.

Slice say five to six oranges thinly and pat them with a paper towel to remove excess juice.

Place baking paper on wire racks and place the orange slices on top.

Pop them in the oven and check every 15 minutes to ensure they don’t burn.

They are ready when dry to touch.

Add to your tree or gifts or table with cinnamon sticks, string, beads, pieces of Christmas Tree and enjoy.
